Director of Program Development: Lisa Moran
Lisa Moran is a graduate of The School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communication. Lisa has been a graphic designer for 10 years. She began her career at Bridgewater Design, developing solutions for companies such as Allstate, House of Blues, the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, and Wrigley.

Director of Operations: Vernon Lockhart
Vernon Lockhart received a BFA for the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Vernon began his career freelancing for Film Incorporated (Movie Posters Division) and the Museum of Science and Industry. He co-founded Art On the Loose in 1992. At Art on The Loose, Vernon has provided art direction for major projects in the Chicago area and has had an impressive list of clients including Northwestern University, the University of Illinois Laboratory School, the McCormick Hotel, Chicago’s New East Side, the Field Museum, the Museum of Science and Industry, the Bronzeville Children’s Museum, Namaste Laboratories. Vernon also designed the exhibit of Harold Washington: the Man, the Movement exhibits at the Chicago Historical Society. As principle of Art on the Loose, Inc., he has received awards from Print Design magazine, Communications Arts magazine, Graphic Design USA, and Graphics. He also served on the board of American Institute of Graphic Arts as their public outreach chairperson.

Director of Education: Kim Lovely
Kim Lovely holds an M.F.A. in graphic design from University of Illinois at Chicago, B.F.A. in Visual Communications from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and Post Professional Certificate in Alternative Design from the Archeworks. She also studied Typography with the eminent Wolfgang Weingart at the Maine College of Art. For four years she held the position of Assistant Professor in Graphic Design at the University of Maryland in Baltimore. She has also taught graphic design courses at; DePaul University and the University of Illinois at Chicago. Prior to teaching she worked for the Harold Washington Library center's design department as a senior graphic designer designing various publications and environmental graphics. Her design studio K.E.L. Design is based in Chicago and specializes in print design and design education. Kim believes that “Every community and client deserves good design.”
