Our “All High School Design Competition” gives bright, industrious young people from schools all around the Chicagoland area an opportunity to showcase their work. Our design theme for 2021 is “Designing With Vision & Purpose.”
We are living in ever-changing times, and as designers, it is our duty to pay close attention to what is happening in the world around us. This means the good, the bad, and the in between. Now, more than ever before, we have the use of technology to aid us in being the creatives that we are. We need to stretch our imaginations to clearly see how what is happening right now can affect our tomorrow and create purposeful designs that will be of good use in the near future.
For the 2021 Project Osmosis All High School Design Competition we would like for this year’s student designers to consider all aspects of design when creating items from the future that follow the ideology of “Designing With Vision & Purpose.”
In keeping with the growth of our technological future, we are also encouraging the student designers to come up with ideas that incorporate two or more elements of the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math) concept.
Think about how you can “Design With Vision & Purpose” in the following design disciplines.
Your school or art/design programs support and promotion of the All High School Design Competition enables Osmosis to engage with Chicago’s design world hidden jewels who will one day be the movers-and-shakers in the world of design.
