Project Osmosis Design Youth Forum is an all-day showcase of the design fields for high school students city-wide that places students in their selected disciplines by assigning projects — the best of which are awarded with prizes. Students take home materials of the chosen discipline, and certificates for participation. Our goal to support pre-professional career discovery.
Come and spend a day with Osmosis’ “Dynamic Design Mentors” as they take you on a journey through the dynamic world of design from the eclectic diaspora of “Afrocentric” design thinking. AFROFUTURISM! It is a fusion of art, fashion, science, and the mystics, A celebration of the power of being dynamic. A trumpet calls for the power of being impactful. A heritage of “Afrocentric Designers’” history-making power to leave their marks on the world’s industries.
This year’s Annual Design Youth Forum will educate you about the power of being dynamic in the worlds of fashion, graphics, apps, motion, architecture, interior design, industrial design, and much more.
This year’s Design Youth Forum is scheduled for March 22nd, 2024, from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm at the School of Design University of Illinois Chicago. To attend the event, you MUST fill out an REGISTRATION / PERMISSION FORM.
