Project Osmosis Design Center

Let's Create a Space for Our Youth to Turn Their Design Dreams Into Reality!

We are committed to continuing to empower our community and believe that every young person has the right to explore their creativity, to innovate, to grow.

That’s why we’re calling on you to join us in our next endeavor: the Osmosis Design Center. This estimated $25 million state-of-the-art facility we plan to build in the South Side of Chicago will be a haven for minority youth, a place where dreams take shape and creativity knows no bounds.

As part of kickstarting the initiative for the Center, we are launching the Virtual Osmosis Design Center in 2024 which will provide online design courses and resources for creatives of backgrounds.

Join us in making a difference in the lives of our youth by donating to Project Osmosis today.

Thank you for your support!

Project Osmosis Design Center

Empowering Chicago’s youth through creativity, community, and opportunity—impacting over 10,000 students and counting.

We’ve reached over 10,000 youth in Chicago, offering tools, resources, and opportunities to help them succeed. Our efforts wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of 500+ volunteers who create a nurturing environment for our students. We’ve awarded over $200,000 in scholarships, breaking down financial barriers to creativity and ambition.

“Project Osmosis helped me explore more creative avenues for my portfolio as well as continue my artistic journey by writing a letter of recommendation to the School of the Art Institute of Chicago!”
—Maximus Mcfadden, Osmosis Student

Our programs cover over 31 design disciplines, from our Design Explorers Program introducing teens to diverse fields, to our All High School Design Competition inspiring creativity. We’re grateful for recognition both locally and nationally, such as the IBM Empower Award, featured on America By Design.
